How do I know if my asphalt needs to be replaced or just repaired?

If your asphalt surface has widespread cracks, potholes, or severe damage, it may be time for replacement. However, if the damage is localized, repairs or resurfacing might be sufficient.

How long does it take to repair asphalt?

Most asphalt repairs, such as filling cracks or patching potholes, can be completed in a few hours to a day, depending on the project size.

How soon can I use my driveway or parking lot after it’s been repaired?

You should wait at least 24 to 48 hours before driving on a newly seal coated asphalt driveway.

How long will my new stripes last?

We guarantee all striping for 1 year. If the "canvas" is clean we usually extend our guarantee out to 2 years. Some clients get new striping whenever the city bothers them every ten years and some clients refresh every two years because they need a nice storefront.

What paint do you use?

StripeKing uses Sherwin Williams Setfast® Acrylic Solventborne Traffic Marking Paint (TM5626).

We choose TM5626 becuase:

- dries in moments reducing the chances of mishaps with busy parking lots

- Acetone & Oil Based which offers excellent adhesion, especially on asphalt

- Has a higher sheen which stays cleaner longer.

Yes, professional striping services ensure compliance with ADA requirements, including properly marked handicap-accessible spaces.
